Lower Cape Fear Stewardship Development Program

Through the efforts of several organizations including: NHSWCD, Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association and Wilmington Regional Board of REALTORS© , the City of Wilmington, New Hanover County and NC DENR Division of Soil and Water Conservation, to name a few, the Lower Cape Fear Stewardship Development Awards Program was developed to award citizens who are working to make our region an environmentally friendly community.

The Lower Cape Fear Stewardship Development Award Program honors residential, commercial and public development projects in Brunswick, Pender and New Hanover Counties that demonstrate outstanding environmental stewardship through the protection, conservation, improvement, and awareness of our natural resources.
